Brad is a horticulturist and was extremely helpful as we decided what plants and trees to use that were drought resistant and inviting to butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Brad’s son, Dan, and worker Danny, were professional, efficient, and friendly. We had some changes and additions we decided to make as we watched the wonderful job they were doing, and they were most accommodating and provided some excellent suggestions. I would definitely use them again.

Front & back yard totally re-landscaped
We recently had our front & back yard landscaped by Brad Sayre Landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. Our project included new lawn in the front & back yard, numerous plants plus a 12’ maple tree, irrigation, and pavers for the back patio. Brad’s business is family owned & operated, with his daughter Haley from Devil Mountain Nursery in Petaluma who supplied the plants, his son Dan, who with crew Justin & Russell did an outstanding job on the sod, plant and paver installations, as well as new irrigation in the front & back yards. They were knowledgeable, always helpful, cheerful, and were open to discussing ideas. We were extremely impressed with Brad’s knowledge & selection of plants, his design ideas and his background in horticulture. We would highly recommend Brad Sayre Landscaping.

The Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa interrupted work for two weeks, but his crew completed the 2 1/2 month project on a timely basis. His team was very professional, reliable and showed creativity when encountering unexpected challenges. When nurseries could not provide plants on the landscape design, Brad had good suggestions for attractive, alternative plants. Our backyard is a work of art we are proud to share with family and friends.
Description of work:
Brad Sayre installed a re-landscape of our backyard, which included removing old plant material on a steep hillside, amending the soil, installing irrigation for the new plant material, extending our patios with pavers and the installation of a 3-tier waterfall, rock wall, paver steps with handrail and screened area to hide garbage cans.

Brad had excellent ideas about both and he and his team did an outstanding job at a fair price in the time he said it would be done! He bought all the plants and bushes but we bought the pavers as he suggested and had them delivered. His team ripped out the old concrete and had to remove a very old tree trunk they came across which is why the concrete was buckled. This was work they had not anticipated but they got it done. Everyone arrived on time, was very friendly, and worked hard – some days were quite hot too. We would highly recommend Brad Sayre Landscaping!! Brad also does our yard maintenance which we would highly recommend too.

We wanted to have our back yard and garden redone as well as the back yard patio and smaller patio at the front of our house.

It went great, it took longer than I wanted because the HOA that only meets once a month had to approve the landscape design. Once the design was approved, the job was scheduled within 3 weeks. The job was done in 3 days, my yard was beautiful.

Brad and his crew have done two wonderful jobs for us. They have planted new trees, pruned other trees, adjusted our irrigation system, among other things. Brad is knowledgeable and uses that knowledge to offer helpful advice. He is easy to work with, and he and his crew make sure the job is done quickly and efficiently, arriving on time and making sure everything is cleaned up once they are done.
